how can i fix my computer's speakers?

im getting most sounds, but when i try to watch videos, etc..., i can't hear anything. how do i get to hear my videos?!?!?

it will be your codecs im quite sure of it.

go get KLITE CODEC PACK, this will hold audio and video codecs, after installation, you need to reboot

plus try viewing and listening via VLC player and not via windows media player if its with a dvd
