hi karen, yes there is a sencer on the door switch, if its not fully closed the machine wont work, its to stop you throwing the cat in at the last minet? sorry! well its a thort? the engineer never did his job right so if you can call him back to fix it, as its a right work up to get to the sencer and fix it, it needs to be reajusted the door may still need to be moved a bit the comen cause for this it the door is bent down like its lent on when filling the tub or slaming the door, and it dont take much to move it, but thats what it is, you could try slacking off the two philips in the door hing and moveing the door yourself? but its fidely to get it right,
