I have a Whirlpool ThinTwin which is almost 6 years old. The machine fills up with water and goes through the wash cycle but will not drain. The day before it was working just fine. What is the problem?

Hello,

If there is no noise such as a motor turning during spin mode, it could be the lid switch causing the washer to go dead.
