The Maintenance warning refers usually the alledged need to replace absorbtion pads in the waste ink collector a very messy job.-
This is determined by the number of pages passed- a very crude guess.
There is a software download that will reset the counters, as will indeed pressing certain combinations of buttons - different for each model- don't know yours - so play around a bit.
