Just bought a new Sansui SAN0712 DVD recorder. It's currently set to region 4. I can't find an unlock code for it to be region free. Someone on a forum has said that certain Alba codes work, (sister company apparently?). Can anyone please help??????

Try searching the web on your model number and the words "Region Hack".

Not sure how they can be 'sister companies", Sansui is Japanese and Alba is British. However As Alba is only an importer, rather than a manufacturer, maybe Sansui make some kit for them.

Having said that, be very careful with Region Hacks, if you get it wrong you can screw the box up completely
