How can I fix my Dyson DC07 suction?

My Dyson DC07 has very poor suction, whilst using as an upright, but when the hose pipe is used, the suction is good. I have checked for blockages and tears in all hoses and the washable filter is clean. What else can I try?

Shubido, I've gotta hand it to you, the email you sent with the previous answers, from this website seems like it will do the trick. Take care, I'll let you know how I get on.

Nily, why don't you check the brush at the bottom of the vacuum. It may need cleaning and there could also be some blockage at that end. Hope this works for you.
