MY DRUM SEEMS TO HAVE DROPPED TDL30S?

my drier is making a grinding sound, and we have just replaced the front bearing(or felt strip) about one month ago, but now it is coming back out and it seems the drum has dropped as there is no gap on top but you can get your finger in the bottom, but it still works and drys the clothes, please help it is a hotpoint tdl30s about five years old.

hello it could be the rear bearing that is faulty on the back in the middle is a small cover just above a big one if you remove this you will see where the rear bearing sits that may have worn through in some cases it can wear through the bearing bracket and the small shaft from the drum can shear off if its been doing it for a while, check this if you have any other questions i may be able to help just email me bladesy2005@btinternet.com
