How can I fix the suction on the hose part of my DC03?

DC03 has very poor suction through hose attachment. Have checked and cleared where hose enters hoover and the hole at the top of the hoover where it enters the bin. Suction on main hoover is OK but room for improvement also

I have the same problem! I think it's also on the main part.

Worse thing it that it varies.
