Can the thermostat on a steam iron be adjusted?
I have a GE steam iron (Walmart Model 106671R) which I like very much, but I wish it was hotter. I don't think irons in general are nearly as hot as they were a few decades ago. Is there any way I can open up my iron and adjust the thermostat so that the hottest setting is hotter?
