no sound coming from the head phones?

i have just brought a tevion mp4 player and the sound has just gone, ive check sound on mp4 up to max but still nothing i went back to the shop and they have none left, help us out please my son is gutted

There's not a lot you can do if the player is faulty, but it might be worth trying a different headset.
