WILL NOT START MY 106 XND?

MARK SMITH, January 2008
There is a possibility that the engine stop solenoid has packed in. It is on top of the fuel injection pump and usually has a single wire connection. Check that you get 12v going to it, with the ignition on. To check the thing, unscrew it using a large socket and lay it on top of the pump. With the ignition on the thin plunger should smartly retract. Also check that the fuel system is bled by squeezing the primer bulb, with any visible bleed nipples open.
