HI Carl another Carl! OK i am not familiar with this engine but as diesel goes you have drawn air into the system. What you must firstly do is see if there is a bleed valve usually around the diesel filter somewhere. Take off the supply feed pipe from your pump at the injector side of engine. Keep pumping until neat diesel flows through once you have done this connect the pipe back up and switch on the glow plugs at the ignition until the glow light goes out now try and start. The vehicle should start but it might take a couple of attempts. What ever happens you have to get the air out of the system. I do hope i have helped you at least in the explanation part of things.
