onix 681 dvd player will play a dvd with sound but will not show on screen ..how do you fix that

Check your cabling, make sure the correct output is selected. Generally you can only use either the S-Video output or the RCA connector video out. Also make sure the right format (PAL/NTSC/etc) is selected.
