will someone please help me out?

my pc system is acer aspire t180-oa7z amd sempron 3000+ 80 gb sata and 512 mb ddrll. when i turn on my pc, the tower starts up but there is a continuos beep and on my screen it say( no video input) i,ve tried pressing every key on keyboard as i start it but nothing happens. thanks

iv got that pc the exect same thing happent to mine all you have to do is you have to leave it on for about an hour then delete some stuff off it then it works

Continuous beep is usually stuck keyboard. Try swapping for known good one.

thanks ben. when i first turn the tower on i can hear the processor fan start up but then it sounds like it slows down

Could be a few things. Firstly, remove your memory stick(s) from inside the case, a faulty ram stick can cause the machine to beep continously and not boot up. Second check your processor fan is spinning, some machine will not boot if the processor fan is not working.

Mostly in my experience ram is usually at fault on non-booting machines.
