Hotpoint Ultima Extra WMA62/3 softener drawer won't drain?

My Hotpoint Ultima Extra WMA62/3 washing machine softener drawer won't drain. I have washed it all out & cleaned it yet it still won't drain. At the end of the wash the softener is still there along with some water. Can anyone help?

Remove the machine top cover. There is a flexible rubber pipe which siphons the softener out of the dispenser. Its probably blocked. Detach and clean it out
