I turn it and i get gray and white diagonal lines that get brighter and brighter ,after 10 sec. it shuts off .I turn it on again and the same thing happens only it shuts faster like 3 to 5 sec.

I had the same problem with my magnavox.After a week,it finally shut off by itself for good.Now there is no picture or sound.It only makes a beeping noise.I've had no luck finding an answer.I just bought a new one.There's no use in paying for an estimate,just to tell you it will cost too much to repair it.
