running speed suffolk punch 43s?

The carburetter linkage is leaving me puzzled!
As an angineer i thought i could work it out but obviously im not so bright!
The control leaver will not adjust the speed although it is working up to the point where it will not adjust the speed governor.
Can you please help in directing me as to how the linkage should be connected or is there a manual i could purchase?
Thanks
David Hendy

Hi, I'm having the same problem, can't seem to see how linkage is operated by the throttle on an old mower I've been given. did youmanage to obtain a manual? i'd appreciate any help in obtaining a copy.

Cheers,
David.

Various qualcast sites have exploded views of the engine and fittings. These should help in getting bits in the right places.
It may also be that the main jet is too far open if you find that at minimum throtle the engine does not run at idle speed.
