Color Issues with a 54" RCA TV Model# P52754AT?

I have a 54" RCA Big Screen TV Model: P52754AT and it seems as though the color is going out in it. Mostly the red. The picture is blurly and there is alot of green in it. It is pretty much unwatchable the way it is. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Or how expensive of a fix it may be? Anything that I would be able to do myself would be great since I really dont want to have to buy a new TV.

Kristina ... sounds like the Red electron gun has given up working and to be honest this type of repair is quite expensive. Unless you know what you are doing with tv repair then I would not even attempt it yourself as the voltages involved are extrememly large and will kill you! Have a shop around for a second hand CRT TV as these are going really cheap at the moment due to everyone buying LCD TV's.
