My Peugeot expert 02 diesel non air con, vans heater fails to blow or does so occasionaly. Im told it may be the heater motor but also may be the resistor. Which is it and how do I change the motor or resitor, which I believe is located behind the glove compartment, I am prety handy but have not tackled motor vehicles before. Is it a job for the experts?

I can only speak re 205 & 405 blowers, but they are under the glove compartment. Firstly, when it does not blow try moving the wires to the blower (it's about 6-8" dia), it may just be a dodgy connection.

If it needs to be removed, there are probably 3 screws to be seen - remove these & it will drop out. You will need to get on your knees and look up the footwell.

Blowers do wear out.
