Do I need a digital to analog box for my TV's?

I have a Curtis Mathis CM19001 and a Panasonic CT-27G23. They both work with rabbit ears but can I get one of those converter boxes so that I don't have to get cable?

The answer about aerials is not quite correct. Only in some areas do you need a wideband aerial. (Those where the digital channels are widely separated.) However in my experience one nearly always needs an outdoor aerial.

Melina ..... wherabouts are you from? In the UK the cheapest option is to buy a Freeview box (a digital reciever that converts digital to analogue) which needs a different type of aerial (wider bandwidth). So if you can do the same and still want to use a set top aerial, you will need to change that to.
