where is the pressure release valve in my gainsborough 9.5 scl shower?

you answered in a previous question about water coming out of the overflow pipe on the gainsborough shower 9.5 scl when you bring the hose above waist level . you said that it would be the prv - is that the seal inside the shower hose attachment (where you screw it onto the shower)? cause i cannot find it in the breakdown diagram of the shower ??!!?? dont know if a replacement hose would work or not. it is driving me mad - hope you can help !!

try to get it fixed before you do more damage if the hose is twisted or faulty causing it to restrict the flow which will activate the prd.

sorry - hi spec plumbing answered a question to a bloke who said that when using his elec gainsborough 9.5scl shower he had a prob with the water coming out of the overflow pipe. when the hose is downwards it is fine but as soon as you lift it higher than your waist it comes spilling out of the overflow pipe. thats the exact same as me. the answer given was it was the prv and to check the hose for kinks etc. i heard about a ball that could have come loose or moved in the prv that can be pushed back in ??? also is it still safe to use when water coming out of overflow pipe until i get it fixed???
