When I turned on my 14" Color Thomson TV its askes to do a channel search like if its new, I proceed with the set-up save settings and works okay. After I turned it off and then on again it requires me to go throught the channel search again. Does it have a battary like the PC or the EEPROM is faulty ?

its not tuned in correctly,after you have done a search you must ok it twice to save the tuned channel
