fuel pipe corroded on my fiat punto 1.1 1997?

can you please explain this to me and where about is it on my car

the fuel pipe runs from the tank along the drivers side rear wheel arch the length of the underneath of the car up to the fuel rail rot could be any where on this length.
more than likely in the wheel arch area due to road dirt/salt etc
