how do I turn off the yellow light?

I had my puegot 206 serviced but the( yellow spanner) which indicates it was due a service is still shining bright .
How do I turn off this light without going back to the garage
I also have the same problem with my BMW 316TiCompact

have it serviced or if you know someone with service box get them to cancel light. I HAD MY LIGHTS CANC cost me £45 SO NOT CHEAP.
