is there any real differance change the brakes on mondeo mk3 than older cars which don`t have abs is there anything i should know before starting

No, there is never normally a difference. There may be an ABS ring built into the brake disc. If so, be careful when removing the disc, so as not to hit the sensor. Also, some modern cars need to be connected to a computer to retract the pistons on the rear calipers. May not apply on your car though, not sure.
