How can I trim down my made to measure venitian blinds?

My husband has measured our window incorrectly and the made to measure blinds get stuck in the window recess. Does anyone know what to do or who to ask to get the blinds trimmed down as we can't send them back as they're made to measure.

i do blinds as a living if you got an ikea nr you there is a blind trimer £2.00 if you cant get one let me no as ive got 2

If you feel adventurous you can trim the edges with a pair of scissors. An easier and less boring alternative is to buy a venetian blind slat cutter (from £2 to £5). Regards.
