what is wrong?

my peugeot 406 keeps overheating i have changed the thermostat i have checked the oil cap for water in case it was head gasket .its also leaking oil what is wrong peugeot 406 r reg

It could be that the main radiator at the front of the car is partly blocked...are you losing water anywhere? Check in the radiator expansion bottle for signs of oil - head gasket problems are common on these, especially if its a diesel. No real connection regarding oil leaks, unless its from the cylinder head itself.
