I have changed our pc from tiny win/me to dell/vista and need the scanner to work,can you help

Welcome to the wonderful world of Vista lol. Goto the scanner manufacure web page and see if they have a Vista driver. If they don't you can download and install a program called iCOPY. It is freeware available on downloads.com. you scanner will not have all the bells and whistles but will scan.
