Brakes squeek?

Brakes are good . What is the way you bleed them? I have a 2003 Chrysler sebrine
Fred Howard, April 2008
Brake squeal and the need to bleed them isn't really connected - if the pedal is soft then they may need bleeding, but if they just squeal its due to the disc pads rubbing slightly harder than necessary on the brake disc. The pads should be removed from the caliper and thoroughly cleaned up to remove any dust and debris. They are then greased lightly on all of the surfaces that make contact with the caliper - the back of the pads should also be greased on reassembly. This should cure things, but if the problem has been going on for a while the surface of the disc may be glazed (highly polished) and renewal is the best option. Hope this helps!
