F&P Pride 5.5 Smart Drive washing machine not starting?
My F&P Pride 5.5 Smart Drive washing machine is 10 years, no problems have previously been experienced, until now. It does not start the fill cycle when the START/PAUSE switch is pressed.
When the START/PAUSE switch is pressed:
1.] The wash cycle LED sets to a solid light
2.] When the switch is pressed again the LED light blinks.
3.] The problem is intermittent, in that without anything in the machine a test press on the switch starts the cycle. Placing garments into the machine causes a non-start condition.
Question: Is the above a sign of the out-of-balance switch being faulty.
