scenic 1997.lights problems?

i have problem with my lights on my scenic 1997.when i put my foot on the brake my fog lights come on to.when my headlihgts are on i have no back lights.the dashboard lihts are dimming to.please help.its a renault scenic 97 98

hi,
we had the same problem with our 99 model.try cleaning the terminals at the back lights,you may need a small screwdriver to clean them off,they get corroded after a while.spray wd40 on the electrical parts,this should work.
