what is wrong with my suzuki vitara 4x4?

Some time when I drive my vitara, it has no power from the accelerator and it feels like the accelerator is sticking. The revs go low and feels like it needs to have a good cough? An ideas?

i had a similar problem with mine and it was down to carbon build up in the intake manifold and this was effecting the automatic choke.i tryed fuel treatment but it did not work.i had to remove the intake manifold and clean it out.i found out later that it was a fairly common problem.also check air filter.

could be a number of things. try some fuel additive in the tank and give it a good hiding down the motorway. if still nothing then its probably some sort of sensor. take to garage for daignostic test
