do you have to unbolt front brakes on astra mk4 to change pads?

i wont to change the pads on my vauxhall astra mk 4 what tool do i need to do the job

you need to remove the caliper to change the pads but not the disc. there are 2 7mm allen key bolts on caliper, remove them and put screwdriver in caliper and pull towards you to loosen the piston. pull off caliper and remove pads. then push piston back using waterpump pliers and put in new pads
