Can someone please tell me if changing the drum bearing on a White Knight CL427WV tumble drier is a DIY job?
Ours was written off by the warranty company because their engineer said the drum was u/s. On closer inspection, the horrendous noise was not caused by the bearing or the drum but a loose clip trapped against the drum - which he missed!
As the machine is 7 years old I thought I might change the bearing anyway.

the bearing is riveted to the drum on this model and tends to come as a complete drum.unless its noisy i would leave it alone
