On acceleration the car has a jelly like wobble between about 2 and 3 thousand revs. It is not wheel balancing as this has been checked and anyway when the clutch is dipped, the wobble stops. Can someone give me a clue as to what it is?

The model is a 1994 2.0i RT

When you push in on the clutch you elimanate everything from front of engine back ....aqlmost sounds like a bad pinion bearing for clutch spline in flywheel
