moer starts but will not go when i diengage the brake/clutch it stops runni?

My mower starts fine but when I take my foot from the brake/clutch the engine stops. How do I fix this problem?

I fixed the problem my self it was the fuel fliter. With the ethonol in the gas it clogs the fuel filters as I just replaced this 6 weeks ago!
