dyson dc01 hose has no suction?

vacuum works when using on floor, but there is no suction from hose when using accessories, there does not seem to be any blockage

I had this problem. On my model you can easily remove the bottom of the hose and the curved connector piece using the white clips (one of these becomes visible after removing the main bin. Press this and the bottom end of the hose will slide off the body of the machine). After clearing out half a brick, a pencil and two cats worth of fur it is working like a dream.

had this problem and after several attempts to solve this issue I used a length of net curtain wire and pushed it up (from bottom rubber flap) the hose and out through the top came the offending plug of debris

remove the bin and put it to one side now take the top bin ass and lift it up till it comes off once you have done this strip the ass {it comes in four parts} and clean them once you have done this put it all together and it should work i know it sounds stupid but give it a try and you'll see

At the bottom of the hose area you'll find two rubber flaps - check that they aren't being held open by debris.
