i have a new shape megane 1.4 3 door and my electric window has stopped working but i cant seem to get the door card off..i have taken out as many bolts as i can find but still cant get it off? any help please... hool33@hotmail.com thanks

You need to take two screws out from behind the door handle cover(use a flat screw driver to prise off the cover), also one located behind a small circular cover adjacent to the door opening handle. There are two hexagonal headed screws at the bottom of the door - remove these. This was the easy bit. Now you will need to remove the covered storage compartment located in the armrest on the door card. There is a small plastic retainer holding this in. You will find some difficulty in removing the storage compartment. Once you have done his then you will have to remove the cloth covered part of the door card from the plastic covered part. Behind this you will locate a final screw holding the door card to the door. Remove this. Now you can begin to work on the door poppers - probably best to start at the bottom corner nearest the hinges.
I to had suffered from the window falling inside the door but could not raise it. I had to remove the glass from the plastic retainers and lift it manually. I cut two peices of timber and these now support the glass in the raised position. Not very professional I agree but at least the front seat passenger stays dry and I dont have to park under cover each time I leave the car. Now to save up for the repair bill - or maybe I'll just suffer as it is!!
