when the driver door is opened it drops slightly, and so when the door is too be closed you need to slam it to enable it to shut. its proberly something simple but i have not got a clue and am hoping somone will be able to help me out. many thanks sean.

Common fault with Micras. Slacken the two bolts on the bottom hinge and insert a piece of galvanised or aluminium sheet between the door and hinge. Cut the spacer in the shape of a capital letter E so that the slots slide over the two bolts. Thicknes of spacer will depend on how far door has dropped. (Trial and error should work).
