my bissell proheat wont wet the carpets through the main washer/cleaner?

the bissell works correctly with the wand but not through the main unit.any ideas about dismantaling the unit to check the pipes operated from the trigger on the handle ?

They told me that when they work on them they bypass the heater line because it gets stopped up with the detergent and calcium from the water and that it didn't really heat enough any way.

I am also haviing the same problem. However, the belt brole on the brush truner also and I am looking to wherre I can get a new belt at. The part number printed on the belt is 0199623. Any advise will be of assistance. I am into looking why the water will spray oout of the wand and not the main bursh housing.

I did the same thing today for the same issue. Apparently the soap had dried in the tubing so I too dismantled the entire unit and put got the tubing clear using hot water in a spray bottle. Now I've "attempted" to reassmble it and I think I've hooked the tubes up incorrectly. Wish I had a diagram of how they are supposed to go. Let me know if anyone has any more luck.

I completely dismanteled mine yesterday and saw that the pipes (tubing) was not primed, whatever was in there had dried up and was hardened so I took the tubing off the filter portion and added water inside the tubing several times. It helped some. However, it is still not working properly. The pump belt is fine. The wand spray is fine. It vacuums/ picks up the water fine but still isn't spraying. I even took apart the trigger portion at the top but there is nothing there. Don't try it. I will try again today and see what happens....until later????
