How can I start my suzuki baleno again having lost the original key?

My wife left our suzuki baleno at an airport carpark while travelling away on business. On return, she could not trace the car key. It was lost. We had another key cut after the car was towed away but it can't start the engine as the original had an in-built immobiliser. I am failing to get a duplicate quickly but also need to use the car. what should I do?

If you are in UK, the keys are ordered for £50 and cost £35 for the coding from the dealership

Many thanks. Sorry for taking ages without providing the info you requested. I have been away and was unable to access this site. The chassis number for the baleno is JSAEGC31500-111207 and the engine number is G16B153777.

I look forward to your assistance.

The keys have to be coded to the car's ECU, so no way will it start without the correct one. However, I'd explain the situation to Suzuki quoting chassis numbers etc and see if they can help you from their records - you never know.
