My mcculloch petrol strimmers start pull cord stays out when I pull it?

I have a Mcculloch grass strimmer and when I try to start it the pull cord stays out how do I mend it

Pat
Take off the casing of the pull cord housing and loosen the screw in the centre if the housing. Not too much but just a little and it should spring back okay.
