Goodmans GNAV10 problem "signal too low. check antenea"?

My Goodmans GNAV10 cant find the satelitte. it always says "aquiring satelitte" at the bottom and i keep getting a voice alert saying "signal too low. check antenea" but what can i check?! its a plastic flap! i make sure its level with they sky and everything! any help would be much appreciated

Hi Matt, if your car has a heated front screen this will greatly affect the satellite signals you will need to fit an external antenna
