Anyone know how to change the bulb in the instrument panel of a Citroen AX? I can't see my speedo at night!

Not a trivial task! Steering wheel and column shroud need to come off, then remove instrument panel. Quite a few small bulbs may need replacing, perhaps including working old ones (you don't want to do this regularly!)
Problem will be speedo cable not being long enough to reconnect. Unfasten speedo drive at gearbox end, pull cable a few inches through the dashboard, reconnect at instrument panel then pull cable back to gearbox. Reconnect at gearbox and then refit instrument panel, shroud and steering wheel wheel. Have a cup of tea.

hi fido,you need to remove the complete instrument panel which if my memory is correct there's four screw's & the speedometer cable that retain this.(two screw's at top & two at the bottom) best of luck
