it some times works and some times does not i also get stalling problems are these two connected vauxhall astra 2002 envoy 1.4 16 v

yes they will be connected the astra speedometer drive is located on the nearside front hub assembly. the ecu relys on feedback from this sensor so will sumtimes cut out the engine. get it plugged into a diagnostic machine the code will probly read no speed signal. hope this helps
