my compound mitre saw will not make a full cut through wood.i have only just purchased this saw and wondered if something is placed on the saw for transporting?the saw is a 210mm 1400 watt model no w19ro7

On the right side of the saw the shold be a pin (possibly the left) that slides hoizontaly tha stops the saw from going all the way down. Look @ the saw while you bring it down and you should see the contact point. That is where you will find the pin!
