when i press the brake peddle all lights in car dim, along with headlights and indicators which turn on, this is quite weird electrical behaviour, could this be due to a loose earth connection or something more, have recently conducted full enigine overhall, but did not know if this problem was present before.

I have exactly the same problem with the 1999 Megane Scenic 1.9 DTI I have just bought. If anyone as the remedy, I am also interested to find out how to fix it... Please let me know on gsxeff@hotmail.com as well.
