RENAULT KANGOO 1.9 DEISEL PUMP IMMOBILISER BYPASS?

so we've all agreed renaut make the worst keys in the world ,
they break easily and the life span of each key is around 12 months

So, I got to work , 2 miles from any other life existance , and the key decided to die , the doors still lock , so its the immobiliser thats at fault , only options were

mobile locksmith £270
towed home £free but lost a days wage

Ive just paid £150 at a local dealers , and im now awaiting a new key to be shipped from France and then somehow ive got to get the van down to the workshop to get it programmed to the key.

theres got to be a way of simply bypassing the immobilser
asll this talk of taking out a pellet it of rubber , somehow , doesnt seem to cut with me, and ive yet to hear someone say it worked

but some of you say you do it all the time , so how ,

plus if you want to join the Renault are rubbish fan club shout YEAH!!!!!

I had a 1.9dti scenic, key failed, ask dealer for immobiliser code (4 digits), put key in turn on, red light flashes fast, press central lock switch, hold in for 1st number of slow flashes, release and press again, hold for 2nd no.,etc. after4th no. the red light goes solid and you can start.

...or just run an ign live, so it gets 0v when the key is turned off ;)

cheers guys , but the RAC guy had a transponder tester adn my key fob was not giving out any signals , so ive had to pay the £150 for new key and programming

warning , dont buy Renaults

you can get bypass units for about £100 butthis will void your insurance should the van get stolen

I've had the same prob. Try this ,it worked for me!
Turn on ignition, dissconnect one battery terminal,
leave for 5mins to reboot computor, connect battery.
Immobiliser light should steady then go out, sart as normal.
Good luck
