I have a Sharp LC-42SD1E LCD HD TV and it has developed green Fluorescent patches over parts of the screen,other parts are perfect picture. It happens on all input media, ie satelite, normal and digital tv. The set was brand new and is 18 months old. Any ideas and how much roughly to repair?

I have Hitachi model26ld6200 and green patches on screen. Only a couple of years old!! Not sure what to do. Not impressed if am going to need new telly.
