How do i replace cam belt on peugeot 406 2.0L HDI?

I would like to replace the cam belt on my peugeot 406 2.0L HDI 110BHP saloon.

take it to a peugeot dealer, it is critical that the belt is correctly tensioned. I had mine changed by local mechanic (I live in Spain) and now the car is in peugeot for cylinder head repair. Please be warned.

Hi Martin, I would suggest you get a Haynes type manual £20 or try your local library they may be able to get one for you, as the proccess is a bit too involved to describe here and it will give you pictures of the dismanteling and all the torque loading figures for re-fitting
